Photovoltaic panels installed on your home will produce electricity from the sun. It is quiet, clean and virtually maintenance free. But what can you do with this electricity?
1. Store it and use it yourself.
By storing it you can reduce your electricity bills with a possibility of coming off the grid. The disadvantage is having to install and maintain a costly set of batteries.
2. Use what you can and sell the remainder to EDF
3. Sell all you produce to EDF
Why sell it all to EDF?
Because you buy your electricity at between 4 and 7 centimes per kilowatt – you can sell what you produce back to EDF for over 56 centimes a kilowatt.

A standard 2.9Kw installation in the Dordogne department, correctly sited and installed could generate up to €1900 per year.
You can also benefit from TVA at 5.5%, Credit Impot of up to €8000 and regional grants of up to €10000.
SOLEC can offer a complete service: from initial site assessment to final installation. We can also help through the complicated paperwork involved.
If you want to install an ‘off grid’ system SOLEC can supply a complete package from panels to batteries and also a yearly maintenance service to keep your system operating at full capacity.
SOLEC has undertaken the government course run by ADEME for off grid and isolated system installation.
SOLEC is also QualiPV.
